- Medium-Low risk: NIB + Standard Certificate automatically. Must submit industry data reports every 6 months, have data security SOPs.
- Medium-High risk: 7-day processing. Needs org chart with qualified staff, employment contracts for skilled workers, business process documentation, equipment list with photos.
Large: Medium-High risk, 7-day processing, same requirements as above.
Fully open — 100% foreign ownership. This is one of the easiest codes for foreign tech companies.
The 2025 code aggregated from the old 62029 (other computer consulting activities) via MATCH_CON_AGGREGAZIONE. The 2020 landscape had fewer, broader IT codes. Now there's more granularity — gaming, e-commerce, AI, and IoT all got their own codes, leaving 62199 as the general programming catchall.
