PMA: TERTUTUP — CLOSED. 0% foreign ownership. Wine production is completely closed to foreign investment. No PT PMA can operate a winery in Indonesia. Only Indonesian-owned entities can hold this code.
Renumbered in KBLI 2025 (CODICE_RINUMERATO). The code changed, but the CLOSED PMA status did NOT change. Wine production remains entirely off-limits for foreign investors, regardless of the code renumbering.
Bali Intelligence
This is one of the most commonly misunderstood codes among foreigners in Bali. Despite Hatten Wines being Bali's famous wine brand (based in Buleleng/north Bali), foreigners cannot invest in wine production here. Hatten is Indonesian-owned. The tropical climate makes grape wine production challenging anyway — most 'Bali wine' is actually fruit wine from grapes grown in north Bali's drier climate. If you want to be in the wine business in Bali, look at import/distribution (46201) or wine bars (56301) — those are open to PMA.
