Small scale: Low risk. NIB issued automatically — straightforward entry.
Large scale: High risk. Full NIB + Standard Certificate required, with rigorous food safety compliance including BPOM (food and drug authority) registration, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and Halal certification if distributing nationally.
Fully open — 100% foreign ownership allowed.
Renumbered in KBLI 2025 (CODICE_RINUMERATO). The code shifted but the scope remains the same — ice cream and frozen dessert manufacturing. If you held the old code, you'll need to update your NIB to reflect the new numbering.
